Conservation Efforts Database ยท CED v6.0.0
The CED has been upgraded with new tools for exploring, entering, and reviewing conservation efforts. This page lists what is new and links to each feature.
Features marked Sign in required are for registered CED users. Select the link to sign in, and you will be taken to that page afterward.
Open to the public, plus the tools every signed-in user gets.
The home page now shows live summaries of approved efforts, reported acres, and years represented, along with the leading activities by reported acres.
An interactive explorer for comparing reported conservation work across modules, years, and metrics.
The new Grasslands module is online and ready for data input.
The menus have been reorganized so modules, maps, data entry, and help resources are easier to find from every page.
Send feedback straight from the CED, attach screenshots, and follow the status of everything you have submitted.

In Step 3 of the Sagebrush, Gunnison Sage-Grouse, Cutthroat Trout, and Grasslands entry forms, a new box below Effort Details checks whether your effort may duplicate one already in the CED. It looks across all modules for efforts whose spatial data overlaps or is close to yours, and shows similar effort names, project names, and dates to help you decide. Only approved efforts, plus your own drafts and efforts awaiting approval, are searched. You can open a result to see its details and the contact for the person who entered it, and you can edit it only if it is yours. The check runs only when you select the button and never stops you from saving.
Named collaborators can now be recorded on each effort, and the spatial footprint and SRU map editors have been updated. Both are available when you create or edit an effort.
